Embedded Hardware Engineer – Prototyping & Test

• electronic hardware design projects of portable IT devices with highest demands
• Electronic architecture design, circuit diagram creation, PCB layout
• Manual soldering of electronic components on circuit boards and PCBs
• Assembly of prototypes, tests and trials
• Participation in design, tests, certification processes and documentation
• Support with component procurement and transfer to series production
• Participation in R&D projects on future product architectures
• Helping to set up the development laboratory and prototype workshop in the company

WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, Uni), preferably embedded systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar
• 3+ years of professional experience in embedded development of industrial or automotive products
• Confident handling of soldering tools (SMD, THT) and precision tools
• Good knowledge of electronic circuit development and PCB design (Altium)
• Advantageous: Rapid protyping (3D printing), programming experience with microcontrollers, high-frequency technology & antennas, bonding technology
• System-optimizing thinking, solution orientation, and careful way of working
• Proactive, responsible and intrinsically motivated team player
• Very good written and spoken English (German an advantage)
• Willingness to travel and class B driver’s license
• Enthusiasm for the development of unique electronic products
• Flexible and reliable way of working
