Hardware Developer – Focus on High-Frequency Technology

To strengthen our engineering team, we are looking for an experienced individual who can contribute their expertise in high-frequency technology and play a key role in both research projects and product development.

Your responsibilities
• Collaboration and technical management in funded R&D projects (e.g., conception, architecture, technical coordination).
• Development of electronics and hardware concepts with a focus on high-frequency technology, signal processing, and EMC-compliant design.
• Supporting the product development team in the design, validation, and integration of new electronic assemblies.
• Responsibility for system architecture and technical roadmaps in the area of hardware development.
• Close cooperation with external partners, universities, and funding agencies.
• Preparation of technical documentation, project reports, and presentations.

Your profile
• Degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, physics, or comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in the development of electronic hardware, ideally with a focus on high-frequency technology (HF/RF).
• In-depth knowledge of circuit design, simulation, measurement and testing technology.
• Experience in managing technical work packages or small project teams.
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented approach to work.
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Knowledge of funding projects and scientific project work is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to our other development sites and development partners; driver’s license B is an advantage.
• German and English (at least B2).
