Test & Validation Engineer

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive testing and validation strategies for current and future products
• Create and maintain detailed test plans at hardware, firmware, and system levels, including testing under real-world and extreme environmental conditions
• Design, execute, and coordinate mechanical, thermal, environmental, EMC, and ESD testing
• Prepare and support safety and compliance testing, collaborating with external test laboratories and certification bodies
• Validate hardware functionality, firmware operation, and full system integration, including development of end-to-end test cases
• Contribute to the development of test environments and measurement tools, precisely document test results and track issues
• Continuously improving testing processes and ensure testability considerations are integrated into product development

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Proven experience in product testing and validation, preferably with embedded systems or products designed for extreme environments
• Experience with end-to-end testing processes from prototype phase to mass production
• Experience working with external test laboratories and certification bodies is an advantage
• Knowledge of certification processes (e.g., CE, FCC, IP ratings) is an advantage
• Precise, practical, and problem-solving mindset
• Excellent Hungarian and communicative level English (German is an advantage)
